Furnish and install as shown on the plans Unfired Steam Generator(s) fabricated per these specifications, including all accessories and construction features as described herein. Generator(s) shall be (vertical) (horizontal) configured, be fabricated of (carbon steel) (300 Series Stainless Steel), and be completely Factory assembled and pre-tested prior to shipment. Generator(s) shall include an ASME Section VIII pressure vessel which has been fabricated under inspection by an authorized inspector holding a National Board Commission and subsequently stamped and National Board Registered.

Steam Generator(s) shall be PRECISION Model No. USG___________________. The Generator(s) shall be designed to operate at ________ PSI and shall produce ___________ lbs steam/hr (from and at 212° F) when provided with ________ PSI steam at the control valve.

The Generator pressure vessel and all trim shall be as set forth in the ASME Code, including ASME-stamped safety valve(s) to relieve full capacity of the steam control valve. The pressure vessel shall be constructed of (carbon steel) (stainless steel) for ________ psig ASME Code design. The pressure vessel shall be housed in a 16-gauge steel enclosure and insulated with 3 inches of ¾ pound-density fiberglass insulation. The vessel and controls shall be mounted on a common steel structural base.

The tube bundle heating coil shall be ASME constructed of ¾ x 20 BWG (copper) (stainless steel) tubing with a nonferrous tube sheet. The heating coil shall be installed in the tank by bolted connection to the collar flange and tube head.

Bundle side controls shall include a (self operating) (pneumatic) steam pressure controller and control valve (NC Fail Safe) and required trim including steam strainer, main float thermostatic steam trap, and auxiliary drip trap.

Tank-side controls shall be (bronze) (stainless steel) and shall include safety valve(s), level / pump control, sight gauge, level control drain valve, blowdown valve, pressure gauge, and surface blowoff connection. Optional trim shall include low water switch, high pressure switches, safety steam supply cutoff, low pressure switch, audible alarm circuit, feedwater solenoid valve. and automatic surface blowoff.
