PVI Water Heater – Cobrex Steam to Water
COBREX® storage steam water heaters utilize a double-wall, copper-tube, counter-flow heat exchanger to provide moderate to large amounts of domestic hot water from steam. The heat exchanger is external to the tank and provides exceptionally little floor space to remove the exchanger, if necessary. Heat exchanger and tank are connected with factory-assembled piping. Electronic operating control is Modbus connectable to a building automation system. No steam control valve is necessary when inlet steam pressure is 15 psi or less
Recoveries
- Six standard sizes from 1200 to 7200 gph of water at a 100 degree rise with 15 psi steam.
- Recoveries will vary with inlet steam pressure and temperature rise of potable water.
Storage
- Vertical orientation: 150 – 175 – 215 – 250 – 300 – 400 – 500 – 600 – 750 – 900 gallons as standard. Custom storage tanks available from 1000 to 4500 gallons.
- Horizontal orientation: (custom) 250 – 400 – 500 – 600 – 750 – 900 – 1000 – 1250 – 1500 – 1750 – 2000 – 2500 – 3000 – 3500 – 4000 and 4500 gallons.
