PVI Water Heater – Cobrex Instantaneous

COBREX is a factory packaged, skid-mounted instantaneous water heater. The heat exchanger is a double-wall, copper-tube, counter-flow design. Temperature control is provided entirely on the domestic water side through dual thermostatic mixing valves. These mixing valves modulate infinitely in response to hot water demand.

No steam valve is required with pressures at or below 15 psi!

Designed for buildings with hot water re-circulation and provides incredibly accurate temperature control.

Recoveries

• With 15 psi inlet steam, units are available to produce 20, 30, 40, 50 and 60, 75 and 90 gpm of water from 40 to 140 degrees F.

Storage

• Heat exchanger contains less than 2 gallons of water

Corrosion Protection

• Heat exchanger is all copper and bronze construction on the boiler water and domestic water sides.
• Piping and fittings are either brass, bronze or copper.
