Near Condensing Boiler (85-88% efficient)

Near Condensing Boilers is a perfect blend of economical price and fully immersed integrated controlled boiler. This is perfect for retro fit applications when customers know that they can’t drop temp below 140 but still need to update there existing system. This boiler can act as a small modular boiler plant for old building that might not have or a limited BMS. Goes Heating Systems would highly recommend this boiler for the job.  It can enable disable system pumps and control its own circulating pump. It can bring up any boiler room plant and exceed today’s standards and more in the boiler room. If the customer in the future acquires a more robust BMS system, integration to the equipment is a breeze via a protocessor card.

These boilers are still non-condensing boiler in the combustion chamber. With the addition of on board controls and modulating burner boost the efficiency up an additional 3%.  This might not seem like a lot but with modulating burner controls the boiler can closely maintain this efficiency throughout its firing rate. While compared to a stage fired boiler control will go in and out of the boiler desired efficiency range trying to maintain loop temp and in return affect overall efficiency. The other by product of a maintained efficiency is that the venting now requires CAT IV from the condensate that can form in the flue. Since the boiler has the added efficiency the exhaust venting is a lower temperature then older, un efficient boilers. The natural properties of boiler exhaust are at a certain temp boiler exhaust will want to back to liquid state. This liquid is called condensate and is an acidic product and will harm and eat away a heat exchanger not designed for it. This is why the boiler is limit on inlet temp.

This type of near condensing boilers are robust in that they have a verity of application you can put them in, knowing the basic parameters. It will require some confirmation on the piping design and Goes Heating Systems wants to be a part of this design phase to insure boiler operation.
